Description
This large-format (11 x 17) atlas consists of periodic and daily situation maps portraying the street-by-street fighting for Stalingrad city, the city’s factory district, and the Kotluban’ and Berezovka regions north and south of the city. It contains German and Soviet archival maps, including translated maps from the combat journals of many of the forces subordinate to Soviet 62nd Army, and selected documents reflecting opposing orders of battle, combat strengths, troop dispositions, and combat orders.
